About Hospitality Accountants
Hospitality Accountants is an accountancy service for restaurants, pubs, cafés, hotels and takeaways across the United Kingdom. The site is a plain front door to a regulated firm, not a directory that sells your enquiry to a panel.
The work is carried out by Tidy Money Ltd, a practice run by Preetesh Parmar FCCA and regulated by the ACCA. You can check that on the ACCA register rather than take our word for it, which is the point of naming the firm at all.
How an Engagement Works
You tell us what you run and what you need doing. We come back with a fixed fee in writing, and once it is agreed we take over the bookkeeping, the VAT, the payroll and the year end, or whichever of those you asked for. There is no hourly clock and no charge for a question asked in the quiet part of the year.
Where you already have an accountant, there is a standard handover, and we can pick up part-way through a year. Where you are a new venue, we set the records up from the start so the first VAT return and the first year end are not a scramble.
How We Write What Is on This Site
Every figure on the site, every VAT rate, threshold, wage and date, is checked against the primary source, GOV.UK, an HMRC notice or the legislation itself, and dated. Where we cannot confirm something to a primary source, we leave it off rather than guess.
There are no invented testimonials, no stock photographs of other people's restaurants, and no named author we cannot stand behind. The guidance is written and reviewed in-house and reviewed again when the rules change, which in hospitality is often.
